After I got done recording seven segments of Hardcore Windows 98, I primed up six computers for a LAN party I was intending to hold with some others.

This LAN party would have been recorded for an eighth segment of Hardcore Windows 98, where it would have served as the true conclusion to the series. I shared this video with a few people and talked with others about the idea; it seemed a few were interested, but in the end, nothing ended up being arranged. Even so, I did hold a couple of 1v1 LAN matches later that year, so I at least got some really good use out of this networked setup.

Segment 8 would have been amazing if it actually happened.

There will be an alternate eighth segment of Hardcore Win98 coming later this year - I got a chance to view it last month in November.
