Installing the Primary Domain ControllerCreated on March 22, 2016 Conserve bandwidth! Change quality: 240 Maximum The foundation of a Windows NT network is usually the primary domain controller, which is exactly what I'm setting up here. Windows NT Server 4.0 will be installed to a 10k RPM SCSI hard drive and will control the new ERUPT domain. Alongside that, I'll install the ATI video driver and Service Pack 6a. These are all just preparations for what's to come next... because it's going to get a lot more intriguing from here. Soon, you'll get to see a whole network of Windows NT computers, a tape backup operation, and plenty of other network-related services in action. Oh, joy!I used an AverMedia Game Broadcaster HD to capture the VGA output directly for maximum readability. Alongside that, I simultaneously recorded the front of the server and put a clip-on microphone inside the chassis to record the noises of the hard drive and what not. Comments
