This video was originally made for VidLii when a certain incident occurred involving the site being bombarded with vulgar shock content by a band of fuckin' ugly criminals. Months before that, a moderator went rogue and redesigned the site to promote himself. I was actually laughing my ass off at that incident, until I learned that the guy basically touted himself as a poop-eating Nazi. Seriously. Following that incident, the site owner made the genius move of firing the ENTIRE moderation staff, leaving only him in charge of managing the community. For a video sharing site, this was asking for a disaster, and when it happened, I lost all faith in the site.

In retrospect, seeing how this played out along with how he completely disappeared in the face of Vlare's community shows that it was no wonder Vlare was doomed to fail from the very beginning. While I have no regrets about throwing my YouTube channel to the curbside, I think we all deserved better than what we ended up getting. I'm just glad that now I have a safe place over here to store my old works, free from the poison of YouTube's corporate bullshit and severe incompetence of alternate platforms.
