April 23, 2022 at 04:09 AM

You're over 25 years late to complain about what the File Explorer's supposedly gonna do. Microsoft has been including advertising in operating systems since they shilled for MSN in Windows 95 Gold.

March 13, 2022 at 11:34 AM
Some videos have been added to the Blue OS Museum. Go check them out.

March 07, 2022 at 04:48 AM
Turns out DHCP in MS-DOS is actually fine, the problem was NCADMIN not adding a line in some file that's critical to its operations...

March 01, 2022 at 03:38 AM
note to self : learn to use space bar

February 27, 2022 at 10:46 PM
I only now found out why installing Windows 95 from a Samba server was causing file corruption... the TCP/IP stack's DHCP client in MS Client 3.0 sucks, won't take a lease!

February 26, 2022 at 03:01 AM
Replaced Windows 2000's DNS/DHCP/routing services with dnsmasq on a Debian VM, that seems to work much better for the most part.

February 22, 2022 at 05:10 PM
Today is a groundbreaking day! Finally, motion pictures are debuting in color and horseless wagons are abundant!

February 21, 2022 at 07:31 PM
Dude, stop saying "69" so much, it doesn't make you funny or cool.

February 16, 2022 at 10:16 AM
A new project is underway, and no, it's not a video. This oughta be interesting.

February 12, 2022 at 05:17 AM
Well, looks like relying on BIOS interrupt procedures too much for DOS game programming might be bad practice.

February 09, 2022 at 07:06 PM
Never take advice from pseudo mentors, they only want to erase your identity. Only you can push yourself to where you need to be.

February 08, 2022 at 10:39 PM
Putting on a happy face is an act of dishonesty.

February 08, 2022 at 02:36 AM
Oh, so it mattered that I type iret and not just ret for the interrupt routine. Imagine it being that simple, damn I'm dumb!

KEYBOARD INTERRUPT AAAAAAAAAAAA

January 28, 2022 at 12:55 PM
If GPU pricing continues to remain as abysmal as it is, writing games for MS-DOS will no longer be a mere fun project, but rather a necessity.

January 27, 2022 at 10:56 AM
A modern, tiny ISA-based memory expansion card really needs to be made for the IBM XT and AT at some point.

January 24, 2022 at 10:07 AM
Finally figured out an efficient approach to displaying bitmaps in EGA mode. Once you know it, it's not all that hard... it's the obscurity shrouding the art that makes it a nightmare.

January 23, 2022 at 05:06 AM
Terminus is a terrible font, ugly to read. Really don't understand why everyone's so obsessed with it.

January 20, 2022 at 11:43 PM
Programming CGA and EGA video memory is kind of weird because CGA lines are interlaced, whereas EGA color data is stored on separate bit planes. VGA is more straightforward.

January 19, 2022 at 08:51 AM
Did you know? Only two more years and Steamboat Willie finally enters the public domain!

January 17, 2022 at 04:43 AM
Finally worked out how to set up a Windows 2000 domain controller properly with DNS and DHCP on a VLAN. Gonna start it over so I can get materials prepared for a guide, you're gonna love this.

January 13, 2022 at 09:45 PM
Might not be able to have a Linux-based domain controller after all; I found that the MS-DOS TCP/IP client is buggy with Samba...

January 12, 2022 at 02:02 AM
Geez, couldn't even write that last one right... how long has it been again???

January 11, 2022 at 03:30 PM
I am fucking annoyed by the seemingly endless waves of new highly contagious waves of that fucking virus brewing up due to idiots who still want to pretend this whole thing doesn't even exist.

January 11, 2022 at 01:11 AM

November 13, 2021 at 02:21 PM
Oh... YouTube done fucked up now.

October 29, 2021 at 03:19 AM
The new ideas pitched by "Meta" are fucking terrifying. Do you know what that top line on the home page mentioning "water-based life simulation" means? What happens when virtual reality evolves beyond itself?

October 10, 2021 at 03:46 AM
Newcomers: Windows 95D Lite does not support USB keyboards and mice natively, because no HID drivers were made for Windows 95. That's only available in Windows 98/Redtoast and later.

October 07, 2021 at 02:59 PM
Confirmed, the Abit BP6 is fully operational after stress testing and other usage. This will be the fifth node in the render farm for Sunfish.

October 05, 2021 at 11:49 PM
Yo check this out

October 05, 2021 at 02:48 PM
Recapped the Abit BP6 again, seems to be doing all fine with legit Nichicons. I'm hoping to make use of it in the final video.
